Welcome to Chalet Velours, our beautiful self catered chalet in the wonderful ski resort of Saint-Martin-De-Belleville. Our chalet offers a wonderful, home from home feel, perfect to relax in after enjoying the slopes, restaurants and views that the Three Valleys ski resort has to offer.
Relax in our hot tub or by the log fire
The chalet has everything you need for a perfect alpine experience. After a day on the slopes you can unwind in the outdoor hot tub located on our private terrace. Watch the stars with a glass of bubbles and let the soothing jets massage your tired ski legs. No matter how cold the mountain has been you will always be cosy and warm next to our roaring log fire. Why not enjoy a traditional meal of raclette or fondue in the spacious dining area, then unwind with a glass of wine or digestif by the fireside?
Flexible sleeping for up to 9 people
The chalet is perfect for families or groups of friends as all rooms can be made up as twin or doubles, and arranged over three floors. The chalet could sleep 9 if the extra person is under 12 years. All the luxurious bedrooms are en-suite with either showers or bath tubs and have private balconies. The top floor comprises the spacious open plan dining room, fireside lounge and fully equipped kitchen.

- Our stunning views – All bedrooms and the picture windows in the lounge have south east facing balconies that look across the valley to Mt Cochet.
- Our location – Chalet Velours is located in the picturesque mountain village of St Marcel and is less than 5 min by car to the main ski lift center of Saint-Martin-de-Bellville (lots of free parking right next to the lift station). 25 meters away form the chalet is the free ski bus stop to take you straight to the lifts.
- Our ease of access – Our self catered chalet in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville has two dedicated off road parking places with lots more free parking on the road outside the chalet.
- Our proximity to the slopes – we don’t advertise that the chalet is ski accessible, but for two thirds of the winter it is generally possible to cruise the easy sunny pastures back to just across the road from the chalet, a real bonus!
Although St Marcel is a small traditional French mountain village it punches well above its weight boasting the first 3 star Michelin restaurant in the Savoie La Bouitte. For over forty years the family Meilleur have built the humble eatery into one of the best restaurants in the world. Truly a family affair from the start, still farther and son head up the kitchen with the mother managing not just the restaurant but also the 5 star hotel and luxury spa, there is no less that 6 members of the family involved in the day-to-day running!
If 3 stars is a little out of the price range 2 mins drive to St Martin offers a wide range of possibilities including our favorite Le Montagnard or the piste side Le Dahlia.
